The Women's and Gender Studies concentration in the Interdisciplinary Studies master's program allows students to explore the role gender plays in the human experience. This degree option provides advanced training and skills for both the workplace and nonprofit organizations.
Courses and Framework:
The Women's & Gender Studies Concentration is unlike both the Self-Styled program and the Interactive & Virtual Digital Communication program in that you do not need to choose three separate areas of study. Instead, you will choose from an array of courses in the program itself and other departments. Every Women's & Gender Studies student is required to complete WMST 5200 - Contemporary Issues in Global Feminism. Other approved courses are posted on the Women's & Gender Studies website here.
